Rules and regulations for content creators
Please review the following rules and regulations for content creators.
- Copywrite
- The exclusive legal right to reproduce, publish, sell, distribute, the content matter or form of content created, and provide permission for others to do the same.
- Law - As long as you make the material, it is your content. Copywrite protection applies to the material immediately after the owner creates the content. Copywrite gives the content creator control over their work and how others may use their work.
- Intellectual Property
- A work or piece of content that is the result of creativity such as a manuscript or reference work that one has rights for which they can apply for and/or obtain patent copyright or trademark

- Rights – To protect your rights, to the greatest extent to which the law allows, it is recommended to register your trademark, patent, or copyright with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. Enforcement of intellectual property rights involves protecting the owner of IP against infringement.

- Creative Commons License
- With regard to copy write laws, the creative commons license enables the content creator to authorize others to use their content. For example, content creators can use an attribution license in which content creators allow users to purchase or copy their work as long as they are acknowledged as the creator of the content.
- Use of Trademarks and Brand Names
- While using Trademarks and Brand Names is allowed, trademark infringement, trademark dilution, and trademark tarnishment are not permitted.
- Add a Reposting Policy statement
- Consider Reposting the policy statement to instruct others about your preference for third-party posting and use of your content.
- Add Watermarks that include your name and brand to identify yourself as the original content creator
